Tag Rugby Newsflash!

We are so proud of the pupils from Years 5 and 6 who formed  our KS2 Tag Rugby team and took part in the Small Schools Tag Rugby Tournament yesterday (January 18th 2017) at the West Norfolk RFC ground in North Wootton. We were the only school who doesn’t have a dedicated rugby team and were competing against a range of schools, some of whom allocate scholarships for rugby players! With next to no preparation and training the team literally gave their all on the pitch and the accompanying adults were so impressed by their effort and attitude. Overall the team came second to last which is amazing given their starting point.

Well done Tally, Niamh, Joshua, Billy, Tegan, Thomas, Meisha, Jensen, Arturo and Nathan,we are really proud of you! ( And a huge thank you to Jamie our Edufit coach, Mrs Massen and Ms Cullum too for all the vocal support, advice and encouragement from the side of the pitch, and not forgetting the Hot Chocolate!)
