counting up

last week we have been doing counting up, it is basically a number line (the e.g. is on the maths board).

1.make sure the largest number is first.

2.draw a number.

3.place the two numbers at the sides.

4.use number bonds to get to the next ten e.g. 28-30(2+).

5.Do a big jump e.g. 30-60(30+).

6.Add extra units e.g. 60-73(17+).

7.Add your jumps together 2+30+17=49
