Seat belt safety workshop with The Dims.
On Thursday afternoon Year 3 and 4 spent time with the Dims, learning all about seatbelt safety. Mrs Lee from Norfolk County Council explained all about the importance of wearing seatbelts for every journey. We learned the following things :-
- Everyone should wear a seat belt for every journey, even if it is only around the corner.
- All children under 135cm or aged 12 and under must have a booster seat.
- There is a £100 fine for the driver for not wearing a seat belt and the driver is also fined for any passenger under 14 not wearing one.
- Baby seats are always safer in the back seat.
