Musical celebration evening February 12th 2016
On the last day of the half term Mrs Strudwick organised a fabulous celebration evening for all the children who learn a musical instrument in school and their families. It was amazing to see just how many talented musicians we have. Their parents enjoyed the musical extravaganza, with recitals from cellists, recorder ensembles, violinists, flautists, clarinettists, all performing individually and in groups. The evenings ended with refreshments provided by the Friends and was a roaring success. Watch out for the next one. Thank you to Mrs Strudwick for all her hard work teaching the pupils and organising the event and also to Mr Lee and Mrs Cooper, who took part in the evening as well.
