Our KS2 Cross Country team took part in the Schools Sports Partnership Cross Country event at Lynnsport on Friday December 9th. Without exception they all tried their very best against some bigger teams from much larger schools and the accompanying adults and I were very impressed by their attitude and achievement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Because they finished within the top ten in their respective races Meisha (Y5), Ben (Y4) and Stanley (Y3) qualified for the next round which took place at Lynnsport again on January 27th.

Once again the children gave their all with Meisha finishing 19/39 in the Y5 Girls race, Ben finishing 23/39 in the Y4 Boys race and Stanley finishing 3/39 in the Y3 Boys race. Stanley will now go through to the next round of the competition.

Many congratulations to the whole team…we are very proud of you!
