Remembrance Day 2017

We were delighted to welcome Flight Sergeant Bill Wells (retired RAF) to school on Friday afternoon to join us in our traditional Act of Remembrance. Bill brought his new young dog, Glenn, with him and this was his first official outing as the Colour Mascot to the Royal British Legion and the 7th Armoured Brigade (Desert Rats).

For a young dog Glenn behaved impeccably throughout the short ceremony and Bill was incredibly proud of him.

Afterwards the children were all given the chance to meet Glenn and  everyone remarked on how good-natured and calm he is.

We are so grateful to Bill for his part in our Act of Remembrance and would also like to thank the huge crowd of family and friends who joined us to pay their respects.
