Football at Fairstead
This was the 2nd match of 5 in the mini league and it proved to be extremely exciting, 50/55 minutes. Once again Fin and Lenny shared goal keeping duties, making some fantastic saves. It was really end to end play with both teams determinedly wanting to win. Their passing and movement on and off the ball was brilliant. Fairstead scored first and with patience and continued pressure we levelled the match, going on to score the winner in the last 10 minutes. The last 5 minutes seemed more like 10 till the final whistle went.
The team deserve huge credit for the way they communicated and worked together, their attitude and sportsmanship was brilliant. It was a warm evening but they never gave up.
The next match is at Whitefriars on the 8th June.
