Yr 3/4 Tennis Festival @ Lynnsport
Thursday June 6th
It was a pleasant Thursday morning and our team of 2 girls and 2 boys took part in this festival against Terrington Storm and Blaze, North Wootton Aces and Spins, Anthony Curton, Ashwicken and ourselves. The short games, up to 7 points but not recorded, on mini courts and followed by a couple of relay races.
The children were ranked 1-4 and played the corresponding player of the opposing team. It was strange having a net and court lines to negotiate but they soon got into a routine and enjoyed themselves, improving with each game. They were pleased with their performances and their points gained and all of them won some of their games. All of them deserved a medal for listening, applying what they had learnt, along with a good attitude but Arlo was chosen. Well done Arlo, Ellenie, Harrison and Florence.
There were some lovely comments.

“I was nervous at the start but I enjoyed myself.”
