Girl’s Football @ Lynnsport
There has been a bit of a push to get girls playing football and we have been lucky to have been able to field a team from years 5 and 6. There were 14 teams taking part in this tournament with the top 2 teams, St Martha’s and South Wootton, going to Norwich for the finals. It was an exciting day and all the girls enjoyed the event and the opportunity it gave them.
“It was very competitive but fun and I’m very happy because I scored a goal.” Maisie.
“I had so much fun, we came 13th and we got 5 points altogether and scored 4 goals.” Lacey.
“I loved being the goalie and I only let 2 goals in which I am extremely proud of.” Ellenie.
“I thought we did very well and we scored.” Pip.
“It was really fun and enjoyable.” Harriet.
“I thought that it was really fun but some of the teams were quite hard but we worked well as a team and at the end won!” Mila.
“I am so happy how it all worked and us working as a team.” Georgina.
“Football today was fun and exciting. I loved playing against the other teams. In our last match we won, 3-0.” Elsa.
“I enjoyed it. I think we got better at tackling and definitely at scoring goals. THANKS!” Nyla.
These are really great comments!
