Mini Tennis Tournament on 27th June
Mini Tennis as it’s name suggests is played on half of a full size court and is scored by single points, the first to 7 wins. There were 10 teams taking part divided into 2 pools, the winners and runners up playing off in the semi-final and onto the final.
It started off overcast but the sun soon came out and once again we had a great time at Lynnsport.
Sandringham Spirit played really well, Lacey was joined by Ellenie and Arlo and Zacki, winning 9 games and losing 7, several ended 7-6. They finished 3rd in their pool and 6th overall. Well done Spirit!
Sandringham Stars: Elsa, Pip, William and Isaac won 12 games, losing 4 and finished 2nd in their pool. This meant they went on to play North Wootton Spins in the semi-final; there were some close points but they lost but on games won they finished 3rd overall. Super job Stars!
The event was won by North Wootton Aces with North Wootton Spins in 2nd.
