Charging Policy

At our school, we pride ourselves on providing enriching educational visits that enhance the learning experience for all students. When planning these outings during school hours, the Headteacher will communicate directly with parents, supplying detailed information about the visit, including the associated costs per pupil.

Parents and carers are invited to contribute voluntarily towards these expenses. It is through the kind and generous support of our parent community that we can organise high-quality visits that align with our learning objectives across both key stages. We believe these experiences are invaluable in fostering a love for learning and broadening our pupils’ horizons.

For families whose children are in receipt of free school meals (Pupil Premium), we are pleased to offer remission of board and lodging fees for residential visits. In such cases, parents will only be requested to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of activities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate regardless of financial constraints.

Additionally, there may be occasions when a small contribution is requested for materials related to certain projects or activities. We appreciate the understanding and support of our parents and carers in these matters, as they are crucial in facilitating a rich educational environment. Thank you for your continued involvement and commitment to our school community, enabling us to create memorable experiences that support our students’ development.

Music Lessons

We are pleased to offer tuition in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar and drums. We are committed to providing high-quality music education and fostering a love for music among our students. Please note that there is a charge associated with music tuition and the hire of instruments. We believe that investing in music education is invaluable, and we look forward to supporting our students on their musical journeys. For further information, please enquire at the office.

Clubs

At our school, we are pleased to offer a variety of clubs, which change each half term to keep the activities engaging and fresh for our students. As these clubs are extracurricular, a small charge is made to cover the cost of the staff and the resources provided. Children are charged per session attended, ensuring flexibility for parents and guardians. We endeavour to make these clubs accessible and enjoyable for all, fostering a spirit of teamwork and physical fitness among our students.
