Friends
The “Friends of Sandringham and West Newton” is a dedicated group comprising parents and family members who wish to support our school in various endeavours. Established with the aim of enhancing the educational experiences of our children, this parent-teacher association plays an instrumental role in fostering a strong community spirit within our school environment.
The Friends group actively engages in fundraising activities throughout the year. These initiatives are vital, as the funds raised are directly allocated to support activities and resources that enrich our children’s learning experiences. For instance, the proceeds from these events are used to subsidise school trips, which not only provide invaluable educational experiences but also create lasting memories for our students.
In addition to trips, the Friends of Sandringham and West Newton are committed to enhancing the school’s resources. This includes the provision of essential equipment such as playground games, books, and P.E. equipment.
