Good Evening,
I hope that you enjoyed the half term break and had the opportunity to make the most of the great weather we have been blessed with.
I have attached the home learning menu for the next week which includes routine tasks that are there every week and a few new links and ideas to keep the children busy. I have also included some boredom busters to fill a spare few minutes that you may have here and there. The Oak National Academy and Bitesize Daily Lessons are a great resource providing pre-recorded lessons for all year groups and are definitely worth a look.
As always, I love to hear what the children have been up to so do keep in touch by sending pictures and anecdotes of how things are going. Congratulations! You have made it through a half term of homeschooling! I have no doubt that it has thrown up some challenges a long the way but I just wanted to say thank you for supporting your children to engage with the learning set and giving me regular updates of their progress.
I don’t know what the future holds or whether we will be back together again before the end of the school year but we have planned for those first tentative steps towards reopening the school.
I’m sure most of you will want to make the most of the opportunity to relax next week but if the children are bored at any point or you are looking for something to do, I have found a couple of things that may be of interest;
